To meet continuing education requirements, licensees must complete fifteen (15) clock hours each license period as set out below:

a) Three (3) clock hours in Risk Management
b) Twelve (12) clock hours in Commission approved elective courses

Tuition: $25.00 per three (3) hour class

All courses must be completed by September 30th of the renewal year. Licensees must verify that the course has been completed and reported to the Commission within two (2) weeks of completion on each Continuing Education course. Verification can be done by accessing the Commission’s website at http://www.arec.alabama.gov/.
